Problem with some SMS games

I have the following problem for Tom & Jerry and World Cup Italia '90.

Tom & Jerry's flickers, although the game itself looks fine.

World Cup Italia '90 has the same problem, only the other away around. The field flickers and the colors aren't the right (grass is kind of blue instead of green).

Anybody who might know the reason for these problems?

Are you playing them at 50Hz or 60Hz?

50 Hz.
With a PAL Sega Master System (1st version)

And is the game a PAL game?

Interestingly, PAL games always worked fine on my NTSC console, though some that I haven't played may be coded specifically for one format or another.

I'd bet Raccoon Lad may know the answer to that aspect of it.

All games are PAL, as is the console.
Same problem I have with Psycho Fox and Jungle Book.
Also tested them on a SMS II, same problem still exist.

Just tried on another television, and the problem is gone.
