View Full Version : Trying to recall a SNES title

I remember playing a title back in college where the character you play is a weird green guy with a pitch fork. It was colorful and well animated. I was wondering if anyone might remember what title this was and is it worth playing? I only had one experience with it and the memory is a bit fuzzy.

Sounds like Xandra no Daibouken (JP)/Whirlo (EU) to me.

It is most definitely what Rob mentioned. Hard-as-nails game! I'm not a big fan, but Super Play Magazine LOVED it.

BTW, the PAL version is extremely hard to find. The JP version however is pretty common.

Thats It! Whirlo is what I played. Thanks for the reminder and the review. I thought it was funny how the review said it would remind you of a poor mans wonder boy, because playing Wonder Boy in Monster World is what made me think about it.
