You're flying through space in a ship shooting other ships.. I'm sure I played it somewhere between 1978 and 1995 or so.

Wait. If you could upgrade your weapons and pick up bonuses, I am sure that I remember it.

I hope someone can help you.

Since I'm already in here, do you mind if I try finding out the name of an old game too?

You're going through the streets beating up bad guys. Most of the bad guys look the same and there are a bunch of levels. At the end of each level is one big guy who is a little bit tougher than the rest. Any ideas? I'm sure I played it somewhere between 1982 and 1998 or so.

My guess it has to be a shooter that was in the arcades if it was before 1989.

If after it has to be a shooter in the arcades or at a home console you or somebody you knew owned.

If you ever went to one of those party game places where they had lazer tage they also had shooters for you to play here and there.

Maybe it was something on a computer home system if you ever played one.

I am pretty sure that 1978 and 1995 is pretty far apart. That is like an entirely diffrent generation there.

Each game system is like five years apart and ten years is sapposively one generation basically.
You need to think back to when and where you playedf games for that.

That totally has to be Mary-Kate and Ashley: Magical Mystery Mall.

Here's this one, you're a group of people on a quest and you walk around fighting stuff. Oh and they have to save the world. I think it was SNES, Genesis, Saturn, or PSX.

Educated guess:
Gyruss. You do fly (or warp) through space shotting at other ships. It's older too.

I think I know this one. Is it that game where you're the lone pilot who's got to single-handedly fight off the alien forces? I love that one!

I just played through every video game released between 1978 and 1995 and none of them matched this description. Sorry. Are you certain that it was space you were flying through in the game? Not, for instance, time? Or perhaps pudding?

I think it was called "Blue Meanies From Outer Space", but you are mistaken about your ship "flying".

I think it's either Pooyan or Chou Aniki. ;)

Help me ID this one: I was at an arcade sometime between 1985 and 1996 and I was playing a game. It was awesome, you put a quarter in it to start. When you were done you could put another quarter in and PLAY MORE!!! Any ideas?

The default answer to this question is of course Resident Evil 4.
