I am trying to find out where did the prototypes from the Spanish magazine, Hobby Consolas go.

I've tried contacting them, and obviously they don't have this kind of stuff any more. Then I read this post on digitpress, dating back to 2004:

"I remember that on Nesplayer.com they had a lot of protos found on Spain also. Sure they came from Hobby Consolas, the oldest magazine there." (LINK (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41584&highlight=hobby+consolas))

Unfortunately, that's not the case. So is there anyone who could shed some light onto this mystery? I've been trying to hunt those protos down for a good while now.

I got a whole bunch of unreleased NES games from Spain, I don't know if it's the same mag or not. The ebay seller was "armyx," I'm sure we cleaned him out though.

Oh, I've heard about armyx. Did he sell only NES protos or other systems too?

Also, could you list those protos you got from him? Maybe I could somehow try to find out if they were reviewed in Hobby Consolas. Though it's possible that he got his protos from multiple sources, considering he owned a video game shop or something like that.

I got NES and Game Boy, he had a few scant games for 16-bit too if I recall, nothing unreleased though.

We got Sunman, Hit the Ice, and Secret Ties from him, maybe more. It's been about four years, I'd say.

Can't help ya, but they also previewed/reviewed a few unreleased SMS games (Global Golf, Last Action Hero, Robin Hood), though the Robin Hood review used NES screenshots.
Would love to know what became of any of those...

Maybe that ArmyX guy would know more. Any idea how could I contact him?

Dont take this the wrong way, but why do you want to know who bought the protos? Are you looking to buy the protos from them? :)

Actually, I'd rather just know anything he could tell me about these Hobby Consolas protos.

Armyx owns a store in Spain. Old magazine guy comes into store and sold a pile of stuff. Most of it ended up on ebay, others ended up with Red Eye, and some of those ended up with me. This was indeed about 4-5 years ago..

About the SMS Robin Hood, there is a rom floating about. The game is complete. There are others aswell, like James Bond and Q-bert.

Floating around where? I thought I would have come across those by now. Do you have them?
