John Hardie (assuming its a serious non-gag question there, Aswald) is one of the Digital Press guys. I can't recall ever seeing him post here though, but I've been told he's a great guy as long as you don't get on his bad side. ;) After hearing a few words from him, it is easy to figure out what state he lives in.

And incidentally he's the guy I bought 125 Pac-man 5200 carts from to make Koffi Kopter, and ditto for the other 5200 homebrewers.

What does "Atari Joe" have against him, then? By defending ColecoVision against the 5200, wouldn't I count as an Atari Basher? And someone who needs a bit more of a life?

Judging by the quality of the posts, though, I doubt that John Hardie is the least bit concerned.

Yeah, I jumped in and then saw a few of "AtariJoe"'s other posts. Seems like a clown to me, though the lack of punctuation, hitting the return once in a while, etc., is usually reason enough for me to ignore a post, I was in an argumentative mood that day. *shrugs*

Oh come on Joe, you can't judge a whole webpage by one poster (shall I bring up the whole Jet incident?). This guy has some serious issues, and from what I understand isn't exactly playing with a full deck (one burrito short of a combo platter so to speak). To start condemming a whole webpage because of this is silly.

If I stopped going to a page because I got flamed or people did stupid things, I'd be long gone from here. Besides I thought you LIKED people who stirred things up. As I recall you thought that the AtariAge boards were too boring and serious. Whats the matter now, a bit too lively for ya? Like I told John, consider the source and take it with a grain of salt.

BTW did you ever post on AtariAge? I can't ever remember seeing a post from you, just John and Sean.

I'd list the other reasons here but I really like Albert and wish his site and his forums the best. It's just NOT for me.

There's a difference between 'stirring things up' for entertainment purposes, and doing it to cause problems. Riviera falls under the robbsterman category (I think you know which one that is )

I don't think he is in the same category of Robsterman. Robsterman was an evil little man with low self esteem who posted lie after lie in order to hound me for some unknown reason. He also threatened me offline which is a serious thing.

Riviera on the other hand is a Forrest Gump like guy who really doesn't know what he's saying (or can't control himself if he does). It's really not the same thing and the flames are totally different in nature.

Now I don't like people making fun of John or anything (he's a good friend), but I don't think it's the federal case that everyone is making it out to be. I mean it's not the first time people have flamed others on a message board.
