Super James Pond (SNES)

I got this at Goodwill this evening. As I haven't played any of the James Pond games before, I'm wondering - is this a port of one of the Genesis games, or an exclusive?

Hmmm, I'd like to say it's a port, but I recall reading somewhere that it was a slant off a Genesis version, with its own SNES-exclusive levels thrown in. I'm sure someone here can confirm.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Pond_2), and it's a port of the sequel, Codename: Robocod.
