Here's a nice site that has a load of VG commercials from Japan and the U.S, among other footage:

They're available for download, but some require Divx. The Japanese ones are generally hiliarious. Some of the highlights are: Shenmue saturn video, Propellor Arena (DC), as well as some great famicom CMs from Japan. Take a look. It's a bit slow for me, but worth the wait.
