I was digging thru my closets yesterday looking for a game I wanted to do some research on. I started pulling games out and making piles, hoping to get lucky, but knowing that somehow the one I wanted would probably be at the very bottom - in the far back. Strange how it always seems to work out that way.
Anyway, as I was moving a copy of Rocket Robot on Wheels I noticed that much of the text on the back of the box was in Spanish. This is a sealed game that I still haven't gotten around to playing. And yes, I've heard nothing but great things about it. I'm not sure if all copies are like that or if I've somehow gotten a hold of a Spanish version of the game.
Anyone know if they were all like that? If not, I'll need to pick up another copy of it. Thanks.

Check the code on the back of the box. If it is NSUP all is fine - the rest of the code doesn't matter. "P"=general european version.

The European version is likely to be pretty useless to someone living in Florida due to the PAL/NTSC compatibility problems. Unless, that is, they have a PAL N64 or a N64 Passport Plus???

It says NUS P NSUE

Never occured to me that I might have a European version. Wouldn't that be PAL? I checked my records and all I have noted is that I bought it new on Amazon.com for $15.00 shipped. Must have been from that Marketplace thing they have over there.
The back says it's for sale and use in USA, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. If that's not the way all the US versions were, then I'll assume it's in Spanish and try to find an English version.
Then again, maybe by the time I get my lazy ass around to playing it, Spanish will already be the official language here and I'll already have learned how to play it! LOL

You probably got an import version meant for Mexico and southern countries.

There's laws in Mexico that state part of the packaging be in Spanish, or that they include a Spanish manual, shrinkwrapped to the back of the game, similarly to Canadian releases. Some XBox games have completely Spanish packaging and a Spanish manual, but I remember that some old, Pre-N64 games had stickers on them saying what language they were and such.

Even if the box is in Spanish, the game may be the same as the US version.
