1. Older than myself or have been collecting longer than I.
2. Have a greater budget than myself.
3. Truly hardcore.

Perhaps a combination of the above. Regardless, any collection that surpasses 1000+ is astounding in my book.

It's interesting to see the differences in collections. So far, NES is a huge part of a lot of them. It's surprising for me, because I only have about 12 NES games, while most of my collection is devoted to the precursor age of Intelly, Coleco and Atari.

Anyone who feels that they don't have a HUGE collection yet, there are drawbacks too, you know. Such as physical problems due to space, possible complaints from any spouse / long-term partner, and insurance issues and a possible Ebay addiction. So, it isn't all that bad. :)

Wish I had a bigger NES-Genesis Collection, I'd probly be around 3,000 or so if I worked on just NES and Genesis. Right now, I have around 1500 total, almost all of those are pre-NES. However most of my systems are post-NES, weird eh?

Not too bad...being that I started out with a couple of 2600s, an Intellivision II, Sega Genesis,and NES back in 1996. I made a big find in '96 when I found an INTV2 and a couple of 2600s in a huge dumpster...everything worked except for the INTV2...which somehow got thrown out...:(

I'm not looking for any more systems...I'm pretty much satisfied with that part. I'm more interested in expanding the 2600, 5200, 7800, CV, INTV(possibly getting a collection) and NES collections. If I come across anything like a Saturn or so, I'd stil probably pick it up. I have a small apartment so it's hard to store everything sometimes..but I am creative. :D
Not bad though!

I actually have about 90% of the games I want too, and since I don't collect EVERY game for a console, only the ones I want, my total is lower than many. Currently the total is 443, and 222 of those are NES. The rest are spread out over 14 other systems, like my GBC, Dreamcast, Playstation and Sega CD.
