Due to various issues with the old store, I was forced to move to a new location. Things are coming along great and the new store will be opening this Saturday, June 2nd. And since I'm not one to miss a party (at least when I'm hosting it LOL), we will still be having our monthly South Jersey Classic meet. It's a double dose of fun! :D

Where:
Next Level Videogames
1031 Little Gloucester Rd
Blackwood, NJ 08012
(in Todays Plaza at the intersection of Little Gloucester and Blackwood-Clementon Rds)
856-401-0011

When:
Saturday, June 2nd - noon to whenever.

Please post if you can attend and if your looking for anything specific for trades.

Holy shit on two counts:

#1 I was going to visit you at the store today and I can't believe you are already moved that fast!

#2 Is that the location I think it is? Where Full Circle records used to be? I was going to suggest that place! Even if not it sounds like a better spot for me driving-wise.

Yeah, we are moving along at a nice pace...should be no problems getting done by Saturday. And yes, I am in the exact store that Full Circle used to be in...though it looks completely different now ;)

I will be there for most of this, but I have to leave right after dinner, to pick my roommate up from the airport.

Congratulations! That location is sooo much better than the old one (traffic wise). Hey the record store hung in there for about 20 years....

I'll be there. I'll bring an Art of Fighting Anthology just in case...and Immercenary. ;)

Blackwood though? Like this trip wasn't bad enough for me, at this rate SJC July will be in Maryland. :P

You got slatwall in the new store? I got some shelves for you.

Well of course this move couldn't have gone as smoothly as it should have. If you plan on buying anything at all between Sat. and Wed., bring cash with you. Fucking Verizon never put in my move order for my DSL, even though they told me they would take care of it, so I have no internet and no way to run credit cards until next week. Of course it would have been great of them to assist a business, since they always tell me how valued I am as a customer...and done the 1 hour max job before Sat, but that would be too good I suppose.

So...to recap...FUCK VERIZON....and BRING CASH ;)

If it's any consolation at all, a new Cold Stone Creamery opened near my house last summer, and for the first few weeks they were open, they had a hand-written sign taped to the window by the door that said 'Cash Only', so consider yourself one of the 'big guys'.

Ok...for once a day filled with good news and even better news. The good news is that both of my signs for the store have been installed so it should be no problem seeing the place. And the better news is that my DSL is hooked up! (where I'm typing from now)...I guess Verizon finally owned up to their mistake. So feel free to bring credit cards now if you don't want to deal with cash.

See you guys tomorrow :D

Yo, word is bond- you witnessed one of the greatest events in the universe. Great reason to be late.

The crazy thing about Dick Dale, is that live in person is the ONLY way to truly hear what he means to play. The recordings don't do him justice-no one can engineer him correctly.

That really fat bassy sound-i'm stoked you got to hear his sounds as he intended them. Dick Dale live is like playing neo-geo thru an RGB cable.

Was his son on drums? Did he go thru like 100 picks? He is a shredding MONSTER. I saw him go thru 6 picks in one tune-Hendrixs' '3rd stone from the sun'.

Sake is the active ingrediant for LONG assed post.

See you tomorrow.

Congrats man, hope you make it work. Making a decent living off of an independent video game store is living the freakin' dream. How long did it take you to amass your stock?
It took me a little over a year to set up the whole business...about 3/4 of the time was amassing stock.

Sweet jumpin' crap. This thread is nearly two years old. There are many recent posts about Next Level and South Jersey Classic that shows it's been doing well. Why did you dig this fossil up rather than posting in one of the more recent ones?

And there are a ton of refs to Next Level in a few "Best game stores" and "Where can I find classic games" threads. I'll let you dig them up. You seem to be good at that.
