I grabbed up a few of these at my local Gamestop and now an employee has told me that they are recalled? Does anyone have any info on this?

What system are these for? Perhaps this belongs in the Modern Gaming forum ...? Anyways, sounds interesting. Love the Hot Shots Golf series.
The game is being released for the PS2. I popped it in and checked it our for a few minutes. The demo seemed rather limited as expected but still managed to retain all the charm of the Hot Shot series.
On a side note...If you love Hot Shots Golf, Google 'Albatros 18'. It is a free online golf game very similiar to Hot Shots.
