hi guys
1st i gotta kind of "stupid" question to you. i did read about an emulator called "virtua" or something and that this thing is able to emulate am2 games like manxTT, virtua fighter2, and some other am2/sega games from the good "old" times. ;) but i was not able to find that emulator or any romimage around the web/p2p software/board or somewhere else. do you know anything about this emulator?
2nd i downloaded "zinc" and some games for this emu (soul edge, tekken, sfex2) and i dont get the sound running in soul edge and tekken. does anyone know how to get this fixed?

Glad you asked because I've been playing around with Zinc quite a bit recently. I don't have the games you have, but I've been able to get Rival Schools (geez it's been a while since I've played this one, is it really this slow), Sonic Wings Special and Beastorizer up and running.
Are you using a frontend for Zinc? I'm using the Zinc FE 1.92. This may solve your problem. If you look under options, you see setup. Click that and make sure you have Use Sound selected. That may be your problem, it may just be turned off. Otherwise you might check the cfg file (configuration settings) for Zinc and make sure you don't have sound turned off there.
As for Virtua, I haven't played around with it because it's pretty early on. You can get the emulator at http://www.zophar.net/marcade.html but as they note it doesn't show polygons or have sound and it appears to be a dead project as it hasn't been updated in over 2 years.

yeah - already did play around with the cfg file of the (original) zinc. did a bit of "picture enhancement" and that really was - ou - it really did enhance the grafics quality. :)
where am i able to download the frontend of zinc? did not find it at zophar?!

I just downloaded the front-end but the sound wont play... i just found an article on http://www.emuhype.com that says, that some games (e.g. soul edge, tekken) wont work with sound... shit happens. :(
