I was thinking of purchasing a digital output cord for the gamecube. Would this improve the quality of graphics on games played on a gameboy player?
Specifically (don't laugh) I am playing Pokemon Ruby on a 60 inch HDTV. How likely is it that there will be any noticeable improvement? Would you suggest getting one?
Edit - meant to say pokemon ruby

Most GBA games are 480p compatible so a GC component cable will let you take advantage of that.
However, Pokemon Red is a GB game (not GBA) so I'm not so sure it will be improved.

Those four shades of grey should come out like a mofo with digital. ;)

Yep, I run the same setup to my DLP HD TV. You basically end up with a 480p SNES, which is a good thing. The 480p Game Boy Player is the only reason I still use my Gamecube since purchasing the Wii.
