Gamer trip yesterday. Left at 8 am and got back at 11.

Got Last Battle at replays or 3.99. I've been looking for a nice mint one since I'm a fist of the north star fan.

At Game Xchange I got boxes for Turtles IV and Super Ghouls N' Ghosts making them both complete.

Megaman X3 was $7.50!!!!!!

Got the Castlevania Double Pack new for 16, and Circle of the moon for 10.

Super Paper Mario was a late Birthday gift from my sister. 2 months late to be exact.

My copy of Homura for the Japanese PS2 arrived from Play-Asia.com in the mail yesterday.

I picked up Sega Genesis Collection for PSP from the Gamestop sale, and I used the Game Informer coupon that expired on May 31st for the following:

Enthusia (PS2) - $7.19
Logitech PSP case - $3.29
Moto GP (XB) - $4.59
Rebel Raiders (PS2) - $7.19
Worms Forts: Under Siege (PS2) - $10.79

This morning, I found complete PS1 games at a yard sale for $2 a piece.
Tiger Woods '99
FIFA 2000
Twisted Metal 2 (non-GH)
Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style disc in a Test Drive: Offroad case

Picked up a few things yesterday. Still pretty slow lately.

FF Tactics and Off-World were $1 each.
Syberia $0.50
Yoshi toys from a free box.
And now I have two copies of 'The Hire', can't seem to pass them up for a quarter.
Similar with LOTR, I can't seem to pass on cheap paperback editions I don't have.

Couple more games:
SNES The Pirates of Dark Water and Killer Instinct for $.50 ea.

And through Craigslist I traded for: battletoads, abadox, wrestlemania, robocop, dodgeball, tmnt, tmnt 2: the arcade game, gauntlet, rampage, super mario brothers/ duckhunt, captain skyhawk, lode runner, double dragon, bayou billy, super glove-ball, marble madness, contra 2: super c, zelda (gold cartridge, xevious, top gun, star voyagerm legend of kage, friday the 13th, nes play action football, astyanax.. and gave him my N64 w/ hookups and 1 controller and Star Wars Episode I Racer, Mission Impossible, Extreme G, Nagano Winter Olympics,
NBA Hang Time.

The kicker is he was getting rid of these because he'd recently found them all complete at a garage sale. @_@

Went to the flea market since I had a good day yard sale shopping. I picked up

Arcana (SNES) - $4
Harvest Moon (SNES) - $15
Harvest Moon (N64) - $10 (I still had the box and instructions from when I first owned it so now I have it CIB)
Uninvited (NES) - $6

I then traded the Zelda: Majora's Mask and one of the Super Smash Bros from my earlier haul for:
Shooting Range (NES)
Peter Pan and the Pirates (NES)
Tecmo World Wrestling (NES)
Pinball Quest (NES)
Cyber Stadium Series Base Wars (NES)
+ plus a few extra dollars of credit left over.

I already had a copy of Zelda and Smash Bros so I it wasn't difficult to let them go since neither one was complete and both had label issues.

I talked someone on Ebay into ending a lot of 10 SNES games early for $46 shipped.

The games were...

Frogger
Lion King
Spawn
Lawnmower Man
Monopoly
Total Carnage
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Gradius III
Star Fox
and
Metal Warriors

There was no picture and no description outside of what games so I was a little worried but I thought that as long as Metal Warriors was in decent shape it wasn't a bad price. It turns out that the seller failed to mention that all of the games were complete and mint condition. :D

My "find" for June:

Commodore 128
1571 Disk Drive
Around 3 dozens games
5 Cart games
A couple program disks
Printer attachments, but no printer
Two joysticks

I have some of the boxes for the programs, as well as for the mouse. I haven't really gone through it yet, but just wanted to post about it cause it's late at the moment. I'll have to get some pics of it and post those up.

BUT! The best part about this "find" was that it was FREE! YES, FREE! I say "find" because all I had to do was help my friends dad move a water heater out of their basement to get it.

Videogamerdaryll's posts are some of the best reasons to peruse the monthly find threads. I've had my web browser force text size to a certain minimum and max for a long time so it's never been an issue for me.

Here are my finds, rainy day flea trip. Spent 16 bucks:

NES:
Frankenstein
Baseball
TMNT 3
Robocop

SNES:
Sealed official SNES controller (Anyone in the peanut gallery want to gauge how much this is worth?)

The flea market was packed with vendors. There was lots of stuff I passed up on.

Some examples were a SCPH-9000 something model PS1 with hookups for $5. I just don't need another one although I'm already regretting my decision. Another vendor had a 5$ PSOne with hookups, but the thing was yellowed with dirt... pass. A $45 dollar N64 lot was taunting me, mainly because of the boxed OoT and boxed rumbel pak. It was a bundle only, and if you know me, my passion for this console is zero. There was also a decent looking NES lot with hookups, zapper, advantage, 3 controllers, and two games in those hard plastic containers. I didn't bother asking the price because like the PS1, I just don't need another NES (or it's accessories for that matter). Still, I should have asked about it... Also passed up on Beyond the Beyond for the PS1 because the spine insert was folded back... stupid reason I know. Crappy or not, I find charm in 2D graphics and it was a 2D RPG. I'll just hope that one's there next weekend.

What I did get:

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000496.jpg

- Complete Ultima: Exodus (NES) for $4

- One nicely boxed Super Scope 6 for $10

- And my favorite purchase, a Sega Power Base Converter with Rastan in it for $10. Those that read my posts might remember me constantly envying other peoples Master System finds because I can never find the system, despite owning 17 games for it. Well, this is good enough for me! Now to play this massive backlog I've accumulated the past two years:

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000497.jpg

So far the system seems very hit & miss. Half the games I've tried out so far are meh. I was especially disappointed with the Space Harrier and Vigilante ports. Rambo II was a nice surprise. It's so close to the Ikari Warriors formula that it feels like SNK programmed it themselves.

Picked up lots of cheap stuff this weekend from thrifts and garage sales. PSX, PS2, N64, SMS, SNES, Genesis, PC stuff. Here's some photos of the better stuff. Note the Maxi-15 boxed cart that I found - I didn't realize that it has Menace Beach on it! Many of the games are doubles for me and will be trade fodder :-)

Holy nintendo games, A boxed copy of Maxi 15! Sometimes I wish my finds were better, But I found something interesting.

It's an Atari 2600 Six Game Switchbox. You plug a cart in (Wich is attached to the accessory) And then you can plug six other games in, And you can switch between them! It cost me $5, But I never saw one before.

Nice finds. I forgot there was a PSX version of Qix! Is it any good?

Today I picked up SNES: Last Action Hero, Kablooey, and Mortal Kombat, PSX: Tekken 3 and Grind Session. All $1 each from this local record store. I pick up vinyl records and books for the owner, in turn many games are put aside for me :-) Nice arrangement

PSX version of Qix is pretty good. Actually it's really the coin-op titled Volfied, which was renamed to Ultimate Qix for the Genesis port, which was renamed again to Neo Qix for the PSX. It plays well, but it's displayed in its native vertical resolution. That means there's going to be bars on both sides of the screen, and no, there's no TATE option.

Didn't find much today. Bought an old electronic toy called Maniac, kinda like a Simon type game, for $1.48. Super C and Romance Of The Three Kingdoms for the NES, loose (of course), $1.98 each. Bought a 2-pack of new CueCat USB scanning wands for $3.99. Got an NES joypad extension cord for $1.99, and a TurboGrafx-16 RF adapter for $2.99. I looked all over the store, but didn't find a Turbo console or software anyplace. Also bought a Nintendo Wii Wi-Fi USB connector for $4.99, and something called a Showercast. It's a kind of a speaker device so you can listen to music in the shower, either by hooking up your iPod or MP3 player, or by using a wireless transmitter that comes with it. It looks so crappy that I seriously doubt it's waterproof, which might explain why Goodwill had a half dozen unopened ones all priced $4.99.

Yesterday, I picked up Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal new, Greatest Hits for $5.97 at Sears.

BTW, to shooter fans, is Raiden III worth the $30? Also, to Gunbird fans, would you recommend picking uo Mobile Light Force 2? I know a lot was changed when the brought the game to the states, but I could honestly care less about the story in a shooter since it is more or less the same in every game. That and the game is $3.99 complete at GameStop.

Wii Play w/remote $9.99
Questrun II cib for Commodore 64 $2.49
NBA Hangtime 64 Sealed $3.59

I was suprised to find the Wii Play at Goodwill, both in someone turning it in (guess it was Target overstock), and it still being there. I have no way to test it, but the lights do light up when pressing buttons on the remote, and the Wii Play is complete.

honestly mlf 1 and 2 are great games, they cut out all the shity anime garbage and just left great shooters behind, definatly pick 2 up for that price (i think I paid about the same for it myself)

My recent finds include:

-NCAA Gamebreaker 2004 for PS2: complete, $4 at Movie Gallery, I bought it thinking I didn't own it but I got home and found I already had this game in my PS2 library, damn.......but unlike the copy I already had, this version actually has the manual and the disc is in better shape so I paid $4 for a sports game manual and a disc that is more likely to work than the one I had
-Dragon Warrior cart/manual for NES: $2 at Goodwill
-Bill Walsh College Football cart for Genesis: $1 at Goodwill
-Hardball III cart for Genesis: $1 at Goodwill
-Super Mario Land II cart for Game Boy: $3 at Goodwill, I was ecstatic to find this since I needed another copy :) the battery still works as well!
-Loose Nintendo 64 system with no hookups: $4 at Goodwill, I haven't tested it yet to see if it works but the expansion pack is gone and the reset button is stuck/jammed

Over the past several days, I have actually passed on the following stuff:
-A Nascar game for PS1 at Goodwill: $2.99
-A Need For Speed game for PS1 at Goodwill: $2.99
-Madden 2002 for PS1 at Salvation Army: $2 but the game wasn't in the case :)
-Gradius cart for NES at Goodwill: $2, there are enough amateur Ebay sellers or NES collectors around the area who will grab it and I already own this game, I spent the $2 on a paperback version of "Salem's Lot" by Stephen King, this is an extra copy of a book I already own so I can use this one for regular reading and keep my original copy in pristine shape

Thanks. I already have Castle Shikigami 2. Bought that about 2 weeks ago for $7.99 complete. The game has some of the worst Engrish I've ever seen and the dubbing is laughably bad, but it is one solid shooter.

But I guess hardcore fans of Gunbird can't help but complain and if they played the Japanese version first, I suppose I can understand why the'd feel that way. But I've never played a Gunbird game and I could care less about the story of a shooter. Really, who plays a shooter for the story? As long as I'm having a good time dodging bullets and shooting crap, its all good to me.

Again for anyone that's played it, is Raiden III worth $30?

Yeah, well they BUTCHERED out the TATE option too... Can't forget that one.

Oh and RegSNES, Raiden III is fun, but stop by your local Wal-Mart first before you pluck down $30. The game's priced at $19.99 there.

Got an NES game today:

Kung-Fu Heroes (cart only) - $2.50
97 down, 3 to go. :)

Xexyz: Qix Neo is one of my favorite PSX budget games. It has the original game, and another version with enhanced sound. It's my favorite Qix game. However, it's not an essential purchase if you already have Ultimate Qix on the Genesis or Taito Legends on the PS2/Xbox (where it's included under the aforementioned original name Volfied).
