How the F#$@ am I supposed to "snap" these on without breaking the joystick? Has anyone here got these to just pop on easily? Mine don't seem close to fitting.

So, what's a CV stickler, and is it better or worse than SA controllers?

Aren't you supposed to disassemble the controller and replace the knob? I don't have a ColecoVision one, but that's how it works on the Intellivision. Also if it's like the Intellivision one be prepared for it to ultimately break anyway :)

you know what, i ALMOST said that last night.... that was my first impression.
i should look on the back of the packaging and see if i can find some instructions

No. I also had the INTV ones so I know what you're talking about. These are molded concave under the base and it says they are supposed to "snap on" top of the mushroom part of the joystick. It appears to be molded to small to fit over the 'shroom.
