View Full Version : Anyone here try DSLinux yet?

I suppose DSLinux isn't too useful aside from the coolness factor just yet. Still, if it supports text mode, it makes me wonder if it might be useful for running text-adventure interpreters.

So, have you given it a spin?

Actually my brother recently built a digital picture frame and he attempted to use Damn Small as the base. Unfortunately it proved to be very difficult to configure. Major issues setting up X with the display he was using.

I would imagine a simple graphics app would be great on DS, but with the limited amount of RAM in the system, running linux onit is more of a novelty/dev tool than a usable platform.

I want to- but right now it is not that developed yet, and it is expensive to get it running

Expensive? Much of the unlicensed DS gadgetry seems to be fairly cheap these days. (I don't know about the RAM booster carts, though.)

Once you get a passme like device, and a cf cart it does
