That is one of the strangest games I've ever seen. I'm not even sure what to make of that.

Import it for gamecube from europe. It is a great game and works with Freeloader

You're thinking of the first Doshin game, the second is a 64DD exclusive.

I think the first one is pretty crappy, mostly because you start over at the beginning of every day, so it's just not as interesting to play as it could have been. You can tell that they wanted the game to go on and your society to evolve like a real society, but they ran out of development time or something and had to cut it short. Sucks.

I've always been curious about the second even though most people say it's crap, too. Nice to see some videos of it at least considering I'll never buy it for what it goes for.

This game is not at all what I thought it was. Unless this was just some intro area. I thought you controlled the giant?

And you pee hearts into things LOL

Actually you need the first game to be able to play this properly. You go round the Expo and do funky stuff and every so often you play Doshin related stuff, whereupon you stuff in the original disk and it uses the code on there to play the related sections.

Wow, that's completely different from the first game (and the Gamecube game). I had no idea how different they were. I've played the Gamecube version of the first game and it's alright... flawed but still quite playable.

Why did the heart die? What the hell was going on?

Everybody in Japan who ordered a DD64 got theres and that game. This is old news. We know already about APE creation and this and that.

Well if there were a list of "Best Games to Play While on Drugs," I'd have to nominate this to be somewhere on it.

I thought the game had the feel of something by APE. This video makes me want to find a Euro copy of the first, and someday play this one as well.

I am intrigued.

Of course, it's old news. This is the *CLASSIC* forum. By definition, everything discussed here is old. However, I've never seen any gameplay videos of Doshin 2, so that's new.

Also, Doshin 2 was not one of the games that came free as part of the RandNet subscription service. It had to be purchased just like any regular game--same for the Golf Tour game, which is why those two are so rare compared to the other 64DD games.

Does the game remind anyone of Radiohead videos or OK Computer artwork or do I got Radiohead on the brain?

Absolutely fantastic.

From what I guess, the heart meter thing is tracking your bladder. Once it becomes full you wet your bed and wake up from your Doshin dream.

Is this game fairly rare?

Throwing out the hearts is like taking a piss? So the goal is to go around the Expo and urinate on everything?

The Japanese, they've thought of everything...
