I just acquired Fable: the lost chapters (with the guide book for the original fable). I've had the original game since I bought my xbox but have never played it.

I'd like to get into either one - is there any reason to play Fable instead of Fable : the lost chapters?

Thanks in advance to anyone that responds :)

As far as I know, nope. Lost chapters has everything Fable has, plus extra content.

I also heard the graphics were tweaked to look sharper. Can't confirm that though.

No, absolutely no reason. Unless you'd like to waste some time playing through both of them...

Is it true that you can't import a Fable save file into a Fable: Lost Chapters game?

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. But I've started Fable and then started Fable: TLC later on and I didn't see any option to load my old files. I didn't specifically look for them though...

Yep, this is true. I'm playing through the game again so I can play the lost chapters section.
