View Full Version : Just got my first Xbox games and I have some questions

First off, I think this is a multi-game disc, but I'm not sure.

Is it a muti-game, or is it some kind of demo?

I don't know if this next one is a demo or a full game.

Any info on both of these would be appreciated.

The Top Spin and NCAA were in a system bundle. Complete games used to boost Live.

I've heard them called choc-ice and pop-ice (not those little multi-colored things, in those plastic tubes, you put in the freezer)

Ice lolly is a new one on me.

i believe both of these discs are supposed to have two games on them. the first does for sure.

if you bought these used, the second only looks like one of the games, so whoever got the game for you (if used) put the wrong disc in there.

i just went through some of my xbox games that i got used at gamestop and 2 or 3 xbox games that were supposed to have multi-games on them didnt..so i took them back to gamestop and told the employee and they searched and found the right disc with the disc split down the middle showing both the games (like the ncaa/top spin that you have).

after realizing that their were discs like this, i started trying to find the multi games in their original single game disc and succeeded with only a couple..which were Top Spin, NCAA Football 05, Sega GT 2002, and Star Wars Clone Wars. (top spin/ncaa, sega gt/jet set radio future, star wars/tetris worlds)

Wait, what else would you call Fish and Chips? I've never heard any other name for it, and I'm Canadian.

Also, we would just call the "ice lolly" a popsicle.

The NCAA & Top Spin are full games, the other Mechassault was a preorder deal with a free copy of the Pacman.

Why should a Video game owner have to ask such questions.

if it was a demo, store copy, or even beta it should say it somewhere on the game product.

My guess is that they just don't know.

Not everyone knows as much about videogames as you, you know. That might be hard for you to believe, but it is true.

The NCAA game is a real game, my friend had it at one time, and it's just two full games on one disc.

The other one looks kinda like it would be a demo, but the disc doesn't.... Have you played the Arcade one? Does it have Mechassault on it?

It's a pre-sell disc. The disc inside is to promote the original incarnation of Xbox Live Arcade. Nothing on MechAssault 2, if I remember correctly.

Furthermore, the Live disc was available on it's own, and packaged with Project Gotham Racing 2.

No, I haven't played either. I don't even have an Xbox to play them on.
