What do you think? After much deliberation, I decided on white, after seeing a painted genesis insanedavid once had. Sort of reminds me of a storm trooper...

and of course it needs a little more touching up...

Looks pretty good! Trim it out in 24K, throw a couple quality gemstones on it in place of buttons and switches, and you're good to go! (lol). No, it actually does look good. What did you use for paint? Looks like it's got a nice shine to it.

I think you should have left it stock.

If you do insist on painting a console, you have to take a lot of time taping off sections to achieve clean lines. I could be wrong but it doesn't even looked like you taped off before painting. Looks like a hurried job.

However a white genesis such as that, if taken slow, could look great.
Don't get me wrong, if you're happy with it, then that's all that matters. I'm just a slight perfectionist when painting.

Infact I did tape it. And this is my first paint job, so you can't expect perfection first time around. Thanks for the comment!!!

The best way to paint, is to mask with the quality blue tape. Prime once, then let dry a full 24 hours.

Then use something like rustoleum with a thick outer shell. Most other paints scratch too easy.

I'd say it's an admirable first try. Take it apart, pop out the front pieces and paint them seperately. Then prime the shell and paint it.

Avoid more than three coats, the paint will craze.
