Just released to its Web site today is Wired's article about Russian university students resurrecting Soviet-era arcade games (http://www.wired.com/gaming/hardware/news/2007/06/soviet_games). Some of those games look pretty fun and interesting. Anyone spy any games that look like mods of Western arcade releases?

Wow, that bomb shelter/arcade looks depressingly cool. It doesn't say how many of them work -- I think there were only a few images of games actually running.

I imagine you must get a lot of mileage out of the game Soviet Strike.

I thought Lucky and Wild was the only game awesome enough to do this...

Those 1986 Kopecks... I bet they were found in an arcade near Chernobyl.
