Inspired by the likes of Mezrabad and Xaqar, I've decided to do the chronogaming thing myself (I'm not going to write reviews in a blog, I'm just doing it on my own), specifically following in Xaqar's footsteps (Mezrabad started at the beginning and is doing every single game ever--currently on 1979; Xaqar had been doing every Famicom game released chronologically but mysteriously stopped posting after getting up to Ninja Kun).

I'm stuck on Mahjong; Xaqar posted the basic rules in his review so I thought I would have an idea but I still don't quite know what's all going on. I want to be true to the spirit of the thing and don't want to skip over it. Does anyone know the more detailed rules? If my fiancee were here at home with me, she could translate the Japanese for me.

Here are the relevant links for your edification:

By the way, anyone know what happened to Xaqar? I'd love it if someone were to pick up where he left off (it won't be me, sorry; I like to play and read but not write).

You know, that looks like the Rosetta Stone I've been looking for. Thanks! I knew someone would have a link to something useful.
