Finally got an indoor space, should be there most Saturdays and Sundays..

http://www.parklandfleamarket.net/

It's in Lebanon, TN.

If anyone wants to stop by, please do. I also take special requests on finding games, but most of the stuff I am selling is NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and accessories for all systems...

Holy crap, I think you're close to where my sisters live! (Lenoir City)

The next time I go visit them, I'll definitely try to stop by! They already go to Dalton to buy stuff, but they told me they go to some flea markets in Tennessee, and I think they mentioned Lebanon once. Wow. :D

Kitsune, come on by then! =) I have to go to some more fleas in TN, I hear there are some good ones.

Congrats! You have a lot of interesting stuff and no doubt that you wouldn't have some goodies for sale. Too bad I'm looking very booked with classes and work until next summer but hell, a lot of my friends are still kicking around going on some adventure around the east coast or something. If it takes place I'll be sure to post a thread "Who's got a store on the east coast" and plan a route to hit as many as possible. :)

Good luck!

DreamTR,

That is my favorite flea market... Please don't buy all the good games for the other vendors.... Just Kidding.. I will see you on Saturday or Sunday then..

I love that place... Bring a fan... It gets hot in those little building... and watch out for people trying to steal....

Ohh yeah, do you know which of the building you will be in??

I visited them last year, and they only took me to Dalton. The place had one guy selling NES games for $15 each. Disappointing, to say the least. But I'll keep your place in mind, hopefully I'll be able to go there when I get a chance. Good luck!

(By the way, you should totally set up an internet or mail order section so some of us can buy stuff off of you!)

Isn't Tennesee full of hicks. I don't think many people there care about videogames

Well Chaz being from Tennessee, I will tell you that people from Tennessee do care about video games, and unless you've been to Tennessee you don't have the right to comment about people here.

People love Tennessee, in fact most of the people that live in my area, aren't originally from Tennessee, they moved here because they love the area and the people here.

Chaz, you're f*cking retarded. Ooops, did I say that?!?

Where is the market, man? I'm In Cool Springs and can get to Lebanon pretty easily from there, is it off of I-40 or what?

I've been to Tennessee twice, and loved it both times. The place is awesome, and GREEN! I live in a desert and I've never seen so many damn trees in my life! And everyone there is so nice, it's like another country. I walked through the streets and everyone said hello to me. It was WEIRD, but pretty cool.

And there's lots of Mexicans where my sisters live. :p I want to go there and set up a translation business, but first I need money, eheh.

Yeah, any time you try to bring up video games with someone from TN, the topic will usually be redirected to Elvis. </sarcasm>

What say we Tennessee boys gang up and beat the shit out of Chaz? Wouldn't that be a blast? On topic, how far is Lebanon from Memphis? Might want to take a road trip one weekend and check out your wares!

Thanks, they work just fine! I can't wait to see what you got, man.
Plus, Memphis is about 3+ hours away from Lebanon, so definitely pack a lunch, and dinner...lol

I'm from Long Island, NY and moved to TN for college. Yes it is in the south, yes the south is VERY DIFFERENT from where I come from, yes it's a pretty nice place with lots of nice people and things to see. Plus, MTSU is a blast.

I'm moving to St. Louis, MO this week, but I'll be in Nashville sometime next month to pick up my gamecube demo kiosk from my current roomate (I'm flying, she's trucking, so she said she'd take it). I'll try to coordinate my visit so I can swing by.

P.S. Nashville is a great city, and when I lived in Ohio I used to take trips to Tenessee like every other week when Dance Beat Arcade was still open in Goodlettesville. Anyone who outright assumes that is a bunch of hicks down there is retarded, downtown Nashville is outright one of the most fun places to hang out with on weekend nights, the music is great, and the bars are just as good :p

QFT! I try to get over that way 2 or 3 times a year to hang out and have fun. Truly a great city!

Some advice for you on the flea markets around here, DreamTR: Sweetwater (I-75 Exit 60, about 30 minutes from Knoxville) and East Ridge (I-75 Exit 0, Chattanooga area) have this one store called Packard's. If you saw their prices ($6 for SMB/DH, $150 for a used top-loader NES, etc.), you'd know why I'd advise against buying from them. From that flea market's site, it looks like it's actually cheaper to set up there than it is in Sweetwater, though Sweetwater attracts literally 60,000-80,000 people in one weekend. There's a flea market in Dalton, GA (Big D) which has one really great seller to buy games from (I picked up 25 boxed NES games for something like $40 from him one day, as well as a boxed 32X for $10), and a couple other not-so-good sellers.

Sorry for the late responses! Good to meet you PSSerge!

I am in the very first building at SPOT #7 right in the front. They change every week, so I will try and figture out where I am going to be next weekend. I will not be there the weekend of the 22-24th, though.

I am bringing some Famicom games (about 100) and a Famicom system tomorrow!

WOW, didn't realize there were so many people from TN floating around. I am from Knoxville. Would be about a 2 hour drive for me to head your way. I may do it in a weekend or three. There is a decent flea market in crossville, but they usually don't have a ton of game stuff. The one in Sweet Water is a beast, super busy. The best one for video games is in Maryville TN on Alcoa Hwy though. It has at least 2k in NES games everyweek. There are lots of games floating around outside as well.

We will have to get together Dreamtr and talk shop face to face rather than on IM's.

I live in Crossville, TN, and our local flea market is list as TENNESSEE'S LARGEST WEEKLY FLEA MARKET. In the last 3 years, it has gone down quite a bit, and 90% of the vendor's are the same people. My wife and I are hoping that they get some new people in there(with some new stuff). If we are ever around Lebanon on a weekend, we stop by.

I just went to the one in Crossville a few weeks back. It was not very impressive, hardly anyone was there at all. I found a NES system for 10 and a SNES for 12 so it wasn't hardly worth the 1.5 hour drive down there from Knoxville. :-(

Well, looks like I am BACK this weekend, so if anyone wants to make the trek, I'll have an indoor space with various Famicom, NES, SNES, some N64, XBOX, PS1, and PS2 stuff, and a good amount of controllers and accessories for all sorts of systems....SNES to PC Smart Joy Frag Adapters anyone? = )

I'm a bit to the north in Kentucky...might make the trip sometime. Now, I'll need a good excuse to get the wife to go for it...She usually wants to head towards Gatlinburg when I mention Tennessee too...

HOLY CRAP! At this end of this year, or possibly the beginning of next year. I am moving to Lebanon, TN. I'm having some different problems right now in Pennsylvania and my grandmother and I were talking and decided to move to Lebanon, TN with a family member. So yea I'm gonna be in Lebanon, TN toward the end of this year, and I would love to meet some DP members down there, maybe go game hunting together and get a bite to eat. Anywho I'm just rambling on, END TRANSMISSION!
