I Looooove games such as Rez, Lumines, Frequency and have just bought myself Every Extend extra which should be in the post soon.
I find these games really get me 'in the zone' and are almost hypnotic. I was just wondering if you guys could reccomend me any other simular games, poreferably faster paced than slower paced as I have an ADD attention span - hence probably why I love the above games lol.
Cheers in advance ppls. :D

This probably belongs in Modern Gaming, since there aren't very many classics that fit the bill...
Although, the original Parappa is still pretty cool, and I really enjoyed the similar (and much harder) Jung Rhythm for Japanese Saturn. Vib Ribbon and Mojib Ribbon are supposed to be really good, but I've yet to play them. There's also Goo Goo Soundy for import PSX, but its gameplay consists of just "messing around" with stuff, not a real game with objectives.

Oh true, I didn't even think about modern gaming for some reason, if a mod comes in here, feel free. ;)
I have Vib Ribbon, it's.... interesting. :D
Parappa isn't 'Tron' enough. :D

Do you know about Fluid [PS1]? It's very new age.
I'm thinking Ecco the Dolphin meets a music generator.

N20 was basically Tempest on a track.
if you like frequency, amplitude (by the same people) is much better IMO and worth a purchase. I think it can be had used for like $10. Technicbeat is another worthwhile title. Space Channel 5 is good but i suggest the ps2 special edition cersion over the DC one since it comes with a localized port of the japanese sequel. never played it but i think Unison is also a music game.
Thats about all i can think of after a 10 hour overnight shift without rehashing obvious current gen big titles like guitar hero, donkey konga, ddr, etc.

Get yourself an NES emulator and a famicom disk system bios and try to find the image for the FDS game Otocky. It's developed by the same guy that did electroplankton. It's a shooter themed on keyboard/synth sounds. Your different guns are basically different voices on the synthesizer. It's really cute and fun to play around with.
