Friend heading out there in a month and asked me but I don't remember seeing many game stores. Would anyone know or has seen any? Not the general stores that sell all the mainstream but any specialized stores such as the digitpress store or the shops in Japan. Any help would be apreciated.

First of all if you buy a game in Spain or in Portugal they are not going to work because they are PAL unless they are for the DS which are region free. Another thing Spain is extremely expensive when it comes to games. If you just want DS games the only place in Spain to get them is in a department store. I dont know about Portugal. You need to look it up yourself.

Wasn't planning on buying any of the newer stuff. Most of it can be found around here and on the web. I remember when I was there the nes and snes and sega stuff was very expensive but that was years ago. Was looking more for used game stores or anything like that. As for the PAL part, that's not a problem since most of my systems are modded or I have the bypass cartridges.
