Never actually got around to buying it, but Homeland
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeland_(video_game)

Homeland is an RPG for the GameCube by Chunsoft only released in Japan.
Homeland comes on two discs. Disc 1 of the game is a single player quest and disc 2 allows the player to assume the role of a dungeon master and create an online game for up to thirty other players. It is one of only four titles for the GameCube designed for online play.

Mr. Driller! I picked up a Freeloader disc and this game for my wife a few years ago.

I'm a proponent of the Star Soldier remake. Its available on the import PS2 & PSP, but I have the Cube version. Solid, old-school flavored shmup.

I also recommend getting Nintendo Puzzle Collection. It is a comp. containing Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookie & Panel De Pon (Puzzle League). Excellent stuff.

I have both the Jp Sonic Collections. The second one (Gems) has Sonic CD with the original Japanese soundtrack, and all 3 Bare Knuckle (Streets of Rage) games in their original Japanese form. The Japanese version of SOR 3 is much better than its US counterpart, though Ash is a bit ridiculous. Worth it for that game alone; especially considering what people want for the MegaDrive version.
