I have a pair of PS2 controllers that were throw-ins with some system purchases I made a while back. I now know why they were thrown in - they don't work properly. Both have identical problems: The controller acts as if the "right" direction is pressed all the time. It does this regardless of whether the analog stick is enabled or not. What has happened to these? Is there an easy fix for them? Thanks

are the port pins dirty or the ports dirty also i would open it up and see if it just need a new little rubber part to keep it form holding it down.. other htne that it could be a lose wire or something.

i have the same problem with my wavebird. the analog stick also acts as if one is pressing it to the right. Coincidentally, my wavebird was also a throw in in an auction i won. but it played allright for about 6 months. damn animal crossing!
