Its possible it was used overseas or in Japan but this cover was not used in the US.

Hey BA,
If anything for the US side, it might have just been concept art. It's used in it's black and white form as one of the background images in the US's instruction manual's 'Notes" section.
Neat find. ^_^

Well this one is 16x20 and painted on the artists own canvas. I assure you it wasn't intended for the background images page. Still its nice to see that they didn't totally abandon it.
