It was the summer of 93, love was in the air, hunger as well. I thought to myself, "What better than to cool down this morning with a nice large bowl of Cookie Crisp with way too much skim milk." Sadly, when I opened the box the toy was not inside as clearly described. I filed a PayPal complaint.

speaking of pawn shops, i found a OK condition game gear with nothing else, just the unit, i expected it to be like $15 tops, they guy wanted $40 for it.

is it just me or is $40 to much for a ok quality used gamegear unit only?

In short pawnshop employees don't know jack about videogames and overcharge for shit. Hmm... I don't think we've learned anything new from this story.

Yeah My goodwill will charge 2 or 3 different prices for the same thing. Sega Genesis $5 for series 2, then two others that are the same at like $10 bucks. Or Atari games for $4 or Sega Genesis Sonic for $5 or so. Stuff like that after a while I just tell them what's what.
