I'm looking to purchase Video Game action figures. Does anyone know a good site to buy from?. I've found a few which we're about a $100 for one figure, so wondered if anyone knew a good site?.

eBay always works for me. What figures are you looking for?

I have a store , Newbury Comics out here in MA where they have street fighter, DOA, and a couple other things but I really didn't check into them because I'm not into collecting them.

Also, are you just looking for action figures? There's always gashapon sets.

Be very careful when shopping for figures on eBay (or pretty much anywhere online). It's common for bootleggers in China and other South Asian countries to produce pirated versions of figures that are much lower quality. Of course, there are plenty of official figures that aren't very good quality either (the Japanese Resident Evil 4 trading figure come to mind). A lot of official figures are also produced in China, so don't assume they're bootlegs because of the location of the manufacturing. Generally, the location of the seller is the tip-off. Official figures are often produced in China because it's cheaper to make them there, but they usually are lower quality than the ones that are made in Japan. Depending on what games you want figures for, though, Chinese ones may be your only option.

This is an excellent point. I have several threads at VGMM that deal with reporting fakes.

I was at Big Lots last night and they had lots of brand new Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat figures for two bucks each. They also had half a dozen different MegaMan figures for sale as well.

Online, I've always had great dealings with EntertainmentEarth.com.

I agree with Flack about Big Lots, tons of game figures in my area too.
