You can bring it, but it wont work.
If they are on 220-240 volts you are just going to blow out your xbox and you probably wont have the correct hooks ups for the tv, if its pal.
I blew out my original xbox once overseas. Used a proper converter too.
Not worth it...its just a lame excuse to stay inside too...

Yeah, not worth it becuse of power differences and video standards (NTSC versus PAL)

NTSC signals always work on the newer pal tv's the only problem is the power supply. I think you'll have to get a pal power supply and those things are kinda expensive :x

Either find someone with a dead PAL 360 and buy the PSU, or get a step-down converter.
If the TV has Scart sockets, then just get a 360 Scart cable. If it's an LCD/Plasma get component cables.
No idea about going online with a US account in Ireland though.

Man, there's no way I'd bring a 360 to Irelend.
It would take too much time away from sightseeing.
And by sightseeing I mean being piss drunk in a pub.

Take a Gameboy, save the hassle.
Just don't electrocute yourself.
