I'm looking for this card so I can play the Super CD games like Dracula X and Prince of Persia. I'm also looking for a couple 6 buttons controllers and the multi-tap. I'm willing to pay top dollar for the card.

Thanks.

If you can't find the card (I got pretty lucky finding mine), you might want to consider getting a region switch installed in your system. I got lucky finding a US Super System 3.0 card. Still, it seems way easier and more beneficial to have a region switch installed and buying an Arcade Card Pro.

Could you give me any advice on attempting this, websites, etc.? Would it be easier to get a Japan to US Hu-Card adapter and getting a Japanese 3.0 CD card?

I'm not sure if I'm willing to modify this system internally, the CD drive is in good shape and I just spent a good $100 or so on the whole thing, I don't want to break it.

i've had almost all my systems modded without any trouble. acually i have a turbo duo-R on its way back right now after a region/s-video mod.

theres a decent thread/threads on this subject over at pcenginefx.com

i don't really know what a US 3.0 card goes for but apperently they are expensive. you can get a region mod done for as low as $40 and the arcade card for cheap. then you could also play jp hucards if you wanted.

I can't reccommend the converter route. for one that acually works well its going to be $100+ and there sorta fragile, expensive and fragile, not a great mix

Modifying a TG16 internally isn't too big of a deal. It's not too tough to find a loose TG16 and no changes need to be made to the docking bay or the CD drive. Once modified, there should be no problem fitting the TG16 back into the docking bay or the carrying case.

Just from the links on this site's front page, I know that OSG offers the region mod and Japan Game Stock had the Arcade Card Pro for sale.

As for the 6-button controller, Retroware TV shows how it could be done on some controllers in their Street Fighter II CE video around 5 minutes in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EBEdM6dXlM

You could also snag a converter adapter or maybe even swap cables between a TG16 multitap and a Duo multitap to make your own adapter.
