Anyone playing Sim City Mobile? Need help!

I should start off by saying that if you play cell phone games, EA did a great job on this. It's not as complex as later entries would be, and feels like an upgrade to the original. You don't need to lay water pipes and all of that, just simply build water towers/pumps. Laying down streets is far less complex as you don't have to account for much. The only thing I miss is the "voice of the people." It's hard to tell why people are leaving.

Anyway, the game keeps telling me that I'll earn more money if I go up in levels, yet since I started, I'm still a level 1. I have a city population of 300,000, and I can't imagine what I'm not doing to increase this. EA's site was no help. Anyone have any experience in this yet?

I had the same exact problem, I even re-started the game a few times and still made no progress. I would do everything the game told me to do (build more R and I's, build parks ect...) and the end result was a massive fire.

Needless to say, I gave up.
