Faulty New 72 Pins?

I purchased 2 Gold New 72 Pin connectors on ebay, one I installed worked fine but games took forever to pull out, another one just shows a black screen with white lines going through, I hear a screw rattling around in that one, but am sick of taking it apart (took me a while to get spring to lock) any help? All my games have been recently cleaned btw.

I tightened some screws, no more black screen, just flashing green screen.

OSG services more than 20 NES's per month. We stopped using third party 72 pin connectors 2 years ago.

Their fail rates vary from one in four and up. Plus their fail rate after install is poor as well, as the warranty returns attested.

Third party replacemnt connectors suck.

Do you sell 1st party connectors or know a reliable source of them? I threw out my 1st party connector a while ago and installed a 3rd party. I guess I'm lucky for now that it still works well, but I worry about what will happen down the line.

I got the screen to turn blue once and show glitched up blocks, but it keeps flashing.

Yes same here at sigmatronics, We refuse to use new connectors and simply repair the old ones.

The spring locking problem is due to three screws. The mid front screw of the NES could be tightened too much, along with two other screws being tightened too much:
