I just bought a copy of Midway Arcade Treasures 2 from EB Games.
It's marked Not for Sale: Promotional Copy Only.
Why would it be marked like this? Would there be any value to something like this?

Probly a store demo cart or a review copy. As for value i'm not sure, but i guess you can get atleast $20 for it. Someone probly knows more about value on these than i.
I know exactly what that is... Midway often gave games for free as a reservation incentive on certain titles. They gave Shadow Hearts with Shadow Hearts Covenant, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance with Mortal Kombat Deception, and Midway's Arcade Treasures 3 with LA Rush. I can't recall what game MAT 2 was for, MK: Shoalin Monks maybe? Anyway all of the free ones have a PROMO COPY NOT FOR RESALE notice printed on them.

JSN Nailed it. It was a Freebie for MK Shaolin Monks.

Oh okay cool - Thanks guys :)
I was hoping that it was some sort of beta or something given how glitchy the shadows are in MK II.

No, that's Digital Eclipse's "quality" "arcade" "ports".

alot of people specifically collect those though so you might be abel to get someone to pay more for it than you did.
