here are pictures of the atari 5200version of Beef Drop (aka Burger Time): http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_35&products_id=288

Here is the screen shoots of the atari 800/xl/xe version: http://www.ataritimes.com/screenshot.php?Image=8-Bit/beefdrop2.gif

Here the pictures of the 7800 version of Beef Drop: http://www.ataritimes.com/screenshot.php?Image=7800/beefdrop.gif

My favorite version is the 7800 version. It is a great homebrew port that plays and sounds like the arcade game. It sounds like the arcade game due to the pocky chip inside the cartridge.

I suppose the one on the midway collection for ps1 doesn't count, does it :P

I'd probably go with the 7800 version. Intellivision one was awesome in it's own right, but not too accurate to the arcade game.

Intellivision version all the way.

Intellivision, no contest.

I'd vote for the Gameboy version, but it's more of a remix than an arcade port. Therefore, I voted for the NES version since it's the only other one I've played.

My favorite was the first version I ever played, the TI-99/4A cartridge. The Intellivision gets a close second place.

I have to pick the 2600 by default, because it is the only one I've played.

I vote the PS1 port on the Midway compilation.

Anyone who votes for Coleco, 2600 or NES over Intellivision simply hasn't played the Intellivision version. I'm not a gigantic fan of most of the Inty arcade conversions, but Burgertime on Intellivision isn't merely an attempt at an arcade perfect conversion, it's a super fun game. Probably more fun than the original arcade version. Heck, I'm not even a big fan of Intellivision controllers.

Another vote for Inty. NES is a close second for me, though.

I won't vote for any INTV game until I find a controler I can use for that system. I hate that thing. I also voted for TI 99. While the Ti doesn't have the greatest controllers either the Y adapter lets you use other controllers and is easy to find. I often used the keyboard instead of the controller anyway.

If you haven't tried the gameboy version, you have to give it a try. It's really great.

Same here.

I think the only other port of, Burger Time i've ever liked was the nes one.

Come on guys, the PS1 version can't really count - It's emulated - Not a port.

And does anyone know if Super Burger Time was released on any of the consoles?

We were just playing the Intellivision version in the store earlier today (I was giving a little history lesson on the system). I thought so then and I think so now... the Intellivision version is BETTER than the arcade.

It would have to be Intellivision first, with the NES version second (or whenever my thumbs give out from playing with the INTV controllers)

Coleco, with my WICO batwing joystick via a Y adapter

I spent DAYS playing that.

I vote Colecovision. The Intellivision version is too different to be my "favorite arcade port". I don't think the Inty version was ported from the arcade.

Intellivision.
I won the INTV Burgertime competition at the 2600 championship in Tacoma, WA in 2002...I think it was 2002, anyway.

I concur...if you want some BurgerTime action on Intellivision, play Diner instead.
