as some may know, i love racing games. ive played and own just about every competent racer on the xbox.

i drive a 2000 monte carlo, and always wanted to race it in some video game, customize it maybe but mostly just be able to finally see it in action (i know its not a fast car, but cmon, neither is half the shit in GT).

so anyway, my question, anyone know of any racing games at all, with the 2000 or later monte carlos in them?

thanks =]

Its about as far away from the street car as you can get, but most any NASCAR title will have Chevrolet Monte Carlos drivable.

Check car list for Enthusia, the Forza series, and the Gran Turismo series.

Besides that, the only example I can dig up is Midnight Club 3 having a 1978 model, which doesn't help you.

yeah of course the NASCAR games would have it, its a pace car after all. i know forza doesnt have it. not sure about GT (i dont think so) and i hated the Enthusia driving system.

thanks for the thoughts though. anyone have any info?

The pacecar is changed quite often in NASCAR, for example in yesterday's race in California, it wasn't even a car, it was a truck. Plus, you don't drive the pace car in a NASCAR game.

I was referring to the Chevrolet stockcars you'd race in any NASCAR game.

I've checked carlist for Gran Turismo 3 and 4, Forza 1 and 2, and Enthusia, I think you might be out of luck.

I think a better solution might be to get a Honda S2000.

I love being able to drive my car in most any street racing game!

Gran Turismo 4 has two:

Chevrolet Monte Carlo DuPont Race Car ‘01
Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS ‘01

I checked lists for Gran Turismo 2, 3, both Forzas, and Enthusia as well, and none of them have any.

Wonder how I missed them in the car listings at GameFaqs. Used the find next function and searched for Monte and it didn't find anything. Sorry for the wrong information.

Hell, my SVT has never been in any video games, so annoyed by that.

I was always hoping they'd put in a '92 SL1, but alas... Ha ha. But now I've got a 2004 Cavalier, another car that will never be anywhere near a racing game. :}

I agree with you, I want to see more "common" cars in racing games. I would go with the obvious logic though, and just say developers put peoples dream cars in games. Over everyday vehicles that most people own. Not to mention in the Gran Turismo series, there were some pretty boring cars to race. Dihatsu(sp?) move anyone? :LOL:

Nope not that one, I'm talking about the SVT the world forgot about.
