DS Demo game not working?

So I got this from someone today, and he told me it didn't work, and I indeed tried it out to no avail. Any ideas on why it won't boot up at all or play?

Cosmetically its perfectly fine, but i have no idea why Kirby Canvas Curse doesn't want to work, darn kiosk demos.

Hmmm. Could you post pictures, front and back? Just to make sure it is legit...
