Apparently overwriting the BIOS of a Nintendo DS is quite trivial if you have a Slot-1 homebrew cart, but it is of course not without its risks. I imagine getting rid of the Health and Safety screen might be nice.

Has anyone here tried doing this?

Yeah, I was playing Pictochat and I lifted up my top and BAM my DS got a flash of my tits

Why don't you just get one of those slot-2 passcard's so you don't have to worry about flashing? That's what I did when I had a slot-1.

Yes.. I've flashed over a dozen DS's. Takes a couple seconds, and gets rid of the annoying startup health screen.

I've flashed a few DSes, as well. Not much to it, as long as you follow the directions. And getting rid of that miserable "be careful if you like to seize" screen is pretty nice. Homebrew, etc, is nice, too.

flashed my launch ds, not seeing the warning screen is nice, however my cousin's wife's ds has some weird touch screen calibration issue...whether or not it's a side effect is debatable.

I have an R4, so I don't really need to. Sure getting rid of the warning would be cool, but are there any other advantages?
