View Full Version : Genesis + Sega CD + 32x...size?

This is a somewhat unusual request. Can somebody give me the height of a frontloading Sega CD + Genesis + 32x (all attached, obviously)? I'm trying to figure out if I even have enough vertical headroom to have something like that set up and still be able to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles (when I get a 32x), or if I should just hook up a second Genesis when the time comes.

Also, this is even more random...how tall can the Genesis get and still have it play? The best I can think of is frontloading Sega CD (taller than the toploader) + Genesis + 32x + Game Genie + Sonic and Knuckles + some other game. Although, I'm not sure if even that will work (I think you can play Genesis games through the 32x, but I might be wrong).

Yeah, you can play MegaDrive games through the 32X. The only exception is Virtua Racing, due to the SVP chip.

Okay, that's awesome. If you took that pic, then what's in that tower? I can only make some things out. How tall is it?

you know that picture is so funny because ever since 32X first came out, I've always thought of how many things could stack up together (S&K, game genies). How many things can you stack and still have it play? can you really play megadrive games on 32X with no mods?

personally i consider using multiples of the same cart and system cleaners to be cheating. DP should totally have a tower competition.
