cocktail table design, Tank arcade game that came out in 1974 by Kee Games. It has a large, 19" monitor and is operated by top-mounted joystick controls. The cabinet is made of walnut-grained vinyl-clad plywood side paneling. We recently turned this on to see if it works and it does, except, while it moves okay, one of the tanks doesn't fire.

could this be an easy fix?

Thanks!

Rick

check the contacts under the button itself, it should be a leaf switch(which means when you press the button the contacts close and make the tank fire) try cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol. Or check the wires running to the button to make sure they aren't broken. if that doesnt work, check the wires running from the button to the board and make sure the pins that connect to the board are also clean.

I have one at home, I'll check and see if there is anything else you should check.

What dave2236 said. :)

Sounds like an easy fix for sure, most likely a bad connection.
