Is Atariage down?

For some reason I can't acess Atariage. It has been that way for almost 4 hours. Is anyone else having problems?

I just tried it and it looks like it's currently offline. Happens to the best of us. The midwest has been getting hammered with rain, wind and storms for weeks now. If the site is hosted near Al (in Austin) I would not be surprised to hear a storm knocked them offline for a bit. My own website was offline earlier today for about half an hour.

Actually, I think I recall Al posting that there was some upcoming server maintenance. I bet that was what happened.

Found a post over yonder by Al explaining Ye Olde Downage:

What happened today is the server went down and had to be rebooted, and unfortunately I was nowhere near the internet when that happened so had to wait until I got home to take care of that.

I always thought they had too many subforums, they might as well create a Jaguar CD subforum while they are at it and separate it from the Jaguar cartridge games. Then again, DP has a lot of subforums, too. So I suppose it doesn't tax the server to have so many different forums.

Austin's been dealing with a lot of rain. Who knows, their servers might be underwater right now. I know that here in Dallas we've been getting insane amounts of rain. For the past couple months, it seems like it's rained almost every day.
