View Full Version : Guitar Hero Controller Problem - Replacing the whammy bar

Recently the whammy bar for my Xplorer controller broke. (This the 360 controller) So I took the whammy bar from my PS2 Gibson SG controller and I replaced the broken whammy bar with it. I wasn't sure if it would work, But it works beautifully.

If anyone has this problem and has a GH controller for the PS2, Try what I did.

Awesome, great to know, thanks! I am in the works of making a full wooden guitar and selling it to see if there is a market for it.

Ace! I've been thinking of modding GH controllers, But I don't want to pay more than $20 for each controller.
