I REALLY want the gamecube version for Link, but The PS2 Controller is SO much better (I sound like a geeky blonde).

Not sure which I'll end up with, maybe see how the reviews go, or how the prices go :)

Did that freeloader thing ever come out for GC where you can play imports with just a disc swap? If so, I'll probably get the GC import because I wanna play the game now. Then get the US PS2 version, and finally the xbox one, when it's really cheap.

Have the GC version and 2 Hori arcade sticks to go with it... practical playing perfection :D

And yes, the game does totally rock. Despite people's complaints about his inclusion, Link is a good, balanced fighter with no obvious weaknesses...

Im gonna get the ps2 version. The ps2 controller is better for a fighter IMHO. Besides I dont have a GC or Xbox.

I'm not a big fighting fan, but the 1st Soul Calibur gets *lots* of playing time when my buddies come over so I'm definitely getting #2.

As much as the GC controller isn't the best for the genre, I'm getting the GC version anyway. Link *totally* sells it for me.

Early reports make this just sound like Soul Calibur +, so I'm taking a wait and see. If there's enough to warrant a purchase, it'll be PS2 because that's what I got. However, if the import reviews I've seen are correct, it'll be a while before I add this to the library.

Besides, I'm still getting my 3D fighter on with Virtua Fighter 4.

I've got the xbox version.. Once you get past the Japanese text, it's allright. I mean, spawn looks ok and all. But these kind of games are pretty much only enjoyable if you have someone to challenge :/

TOTTALLY change the fighting game "scene" once they all start coming online in a DECENT fashion (Let each game company put in their own servers, xbox players can play against PS2 owners, along with gamecube players. They're all the same game in this instance)

Playstation strategy with xbox support and advertising :)

Il get all three at some point. Link first, because he is just that cool (the new Zelda game really helps sell it for me too.)

I want to get the PS2 version cause I really want to see how well Hiehachi (SP?) mixes in doing hand to hand combat.

And then the X-Box version. Yea.....Spawn.....with an axe.....so cool.......

I'm going to say this in utter fanboy fashion, wouldn;t be cool if one of Links costumes was the LOZ:WW Link?
......forget i said anything

Yes there is a swap disk for the GC. Seen it in EB of all places.

Gamecube for me though over time I might pick up all of them. It's my favorite fighting series ever.

The freeloader you can buy by itself for 20 or 30 bucks or if you get the action replay for the cheat codes it has the freeloader on the same disk and they are 39 bucks. Just got one the other day at best buy.

Immediate purchase will absolutely be PS2. Heihachi RULES. Nuff said!

Like others have mentioned, I will definitely pick up all of 'em over time. The series is too cool for school. Fool. :)

True, but Samurai Shodown rules school, it's that cool.

SC is 2nd place in weapons fighters. Maybe even lower that that.

Still, I can't wait until it shows up next week.

I'm getting the GameCube version...it's the only version to get...mainly because GameCube is the only current console I own! :D
