How do I defeat the final boss? I took him down twice...then went into this dream-like world...there's a health kit in front of me, a lead pipe to my left and a wooden plank to my right. I cannot pick up the weapons, but I can use the health kit. How do I take him out?
*edit* okay it was a glitch...had to restart the entire chapter

I think I experienced the same glitch.

Weird...never had that happen. All I remember is that guy took several fire axe hits to the face. Then I ripped out parts of his jaw or something...
