The power light on my GBA flashes rapidly when plugged into the charger, and it appears the battery doesn't actually charge. I'd normally think this meant the battery needed replacing, but the flashing symptom doesn't appear on Nintendo's website as a proper indicator of this. Any ideas?

Do you have access to a spare AC adapter to test the battery? Or do you have access to an extra battery to test the AC adapter (although this is a little more risky as a wonky AC adapter could damage a working battery).
Also, is it an SP or a Micro?

I do have a spare adapter I can try, but no spare battery. I'll check it out as soon as I can find the adapter.
