Is this a Pirate/Demo?

I'm going away 7/31 on a long plane trip, and am thinking of buying Jeanne D'Arc for PSP. I found this auction:

The box says "見本," which apparently means "sample," but I can't find what that might mean anywhere. Is this pirated and that's why it's on there? Is it a demo? Or is it just on there so people don't use that picture on websites.

PS. I know the game's coming to the US a week later, no need to inform me of that.

I'm guessing it's promo box art, like the ones you see here that say "Not For Resale."

That, I believe, is just the NTSC-J region code printed in kanji. Nothing special, really...I believe I have a couple import games (legit, and not demos/samples, btw) with the region code printed that way.
