Hey guys,

What would be a good price for a good conditioned Neo Geo 6 slot arcade with 6 games in it already..... I know 3 of the games for sure but Im not sure what the others are, nor do I know which games are the "expensive ones" heres what I know it comes with...

Metal Slug 3
Baseball Stars 2
Bust a move....

The people want 1000 and I figured that was too much but I wanted to make sure with you guys and see what you thought... If anything I was hoping to find out what a good price would be for a future purchase.... The 6 slot is definitely what I am looking for.... thanks guys for any help :)

I'd say 500-600 easily with those games, as a six slot.

Then again, I'm no expert.

Sounds about right to me. BAM and Baseball Stars aren't terribly valuable. MS3 is in the $75-$100 range, IIRC. Again, without knowing what the other three games are, it's hard to say. Unless they have some real gems, I'd say $1000 is a bit high, IMHO.

To be brutally honest, $1000 is too high unless all the games are complete and matching kits (serials match cart and box, NOT boots), all in English where available, the other three games are stellar in value (like Last Blade 2, Samurai Shodown V Special, Garou, Bust a Move Again, etc) and the cab, board and controls are all in excellent, clean condition.

You don't even know if any of the games in there are boots or what region they come from. Additionally, the 6 slot boards are known for having reliability problems. If you're just jumping into the MVS scene, I would suggest a 1 or 2 slot board. They are the most common, the cheapest and are very reliable.

You can find a wealth of information about MVS boards at http://www.hardmvs.com

You can find a lot of information about Neo Geo games at http://www.neo-geo.com. I would strongly advise using the search function extensively and look at all the forums before asking questions here. The community is by and large great and very knowledgeable, but they don't take well to people not using the search function for simple questions that have been answered 1000 times.

Thanks for the help guys.... $600 was more what I was thinking as well but I wanted to confirm what I was thinking with some people who know what they are talking about. I am probably going to take your advice and try to find a 2 slot before I jump to a 6.

I made sure to do a search for this on the forum but I came up short with no information about a 6 slot cabinet. Maybe I didnt search for the correct thing and I appologise for that :). Again thanks for the information and I will go check those websites out to maybe gain alittle more knowledge into this area of gaming!!!
