Well, I just got my Rez Trance set from Priest JPN (thanks!!!) So, it's really fun.... :embarrassed: Who else has this and *enjoys* it? Sure, the original version was fun, but this takes it to a whole new level.

If you don't mind me, I'm going to find out what else this works with....

Oh, and FYI, the Trance Vibrator works with the US version of the game, not sure if you can buy them seperate, but if so, it might save you a bit of cash.

LOL hoo boy.... :embarrassed: funny thing, i was skimming through some issues of famitsu weekly and came across (shut up) a really innnnnteresting column with two girls testing out a trance vibrator on assorted parts of their bodies. yes, they were wearing clothes (it's a game magazine, dammit!), but the article rated the effectiveness of the TV depending on where it was placed. oh those wacky japanese... :roll:

And for the same reason, the Trance vibrator is cool, way cool. well give my woman something to do when i play. i wish it worked for all games where vibration is there.

Also the kind man got me vib ribbon along with that REZ. ug. really between these 2 games i can't get on the ps2 anymore, my woman owns it. vib ribbon has good music, but now all i hear is vibribbon w/ chicago soundtrack. sheesh. what a month this is gonna be.

Rez is an awesome game... It's one of those ones that we are going to look at ten years from now, and still stare in awe of how far ahead of its time it was.

The Trance Vibrator makes it all the better too. It's funny showing it to people the first time. "Here, but this down your shirt!" or "Sit on this!". They look at you like you insane. But, once they try it....

Has anyone tried it with Space Channel 5 (one or two)? Space Channel 5 is coming to America on 6/11/03, courtesy of Agetec. Can anyone confirm if it actually works with the import? I remember reading that the Trance Vibrator was going to be used in the game, but I never actually heard if it did in the final release.

Now, I'm thinking this is going to be one hard device to find used.. One, because no one's gonna want to part with it and two, well, it'd sort of be like buying used underwear. No matter how many times you wash it, it still touched someone elses crotch first.

I'll give some do it yourself tips if you agree not to ask who, what, or why. Good. Okay...

Get a semi-sacrificial Dualshock, a plastic film storage canister, carpenter's glue, several feet of wire, a soldering iron, solder, electrical tape, a good file, scissors, and a screwdriver.

1. Open the dualshock.
2. Yank out, and desolder the big motor.
3. Resolder the motor, using several feet of wire, depending on how long you want it to reach from the controller.
4. File a good sized wire passthrough in the bottom of the handle.
5. Glue the wires into this hole as you close the controller back up.
6. Use electrical tape to cover any exposed solder points in your wires.
7. Put carpenter's glue on the bottom of the motor, and stick it to the bottom of the film canister, making sure to position it where the weight won't bash the canister or the wires.
8. Using more electrical tape, stick the wires to the inside edge of the canister, so they don't interfere with the weight.
9. Cut a small hole in the edge of the canister lid, so the wires can stick out when you close it back up. (But leave it open until the glue dries.)
10. Let the whole mess dry for an hour or two.

After that, what you do with it is your business. :-) It's not quite like the real thing, but it should make an okay substitute, as long as the wires are long enough.

Where does teh USB tip come in? Because I can tell you, the controller does NOT vibrate nearly as much as the vibrator does. :embarrassed:

And whoever asked for pictures, a promise to the significant other was made that those wouldn't happen.
