So where can I get MVS games, for decent prices? other than the Neo-Geo forums. I am looking to build a nice set of games to play on an MVS 2 slot that is soon to be mine(as of tomorrow). And also what are the best games, especially non-fighting games?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Look for seller yaton6262 (or something like that) on eBay. Good price but dirty carts :)

To be honest I'm in the same boat.. I got my Neo Geo 1 slot cabinet earlier this year and besides Ebay, everything else is putting much slim pickings.. I did find a few websites that sell MVS games. I will try to find the list for you.. If buying on Ebay, watch out for the seller from Canada, make sure the games say original not working, as I've been told the MVS games listed as working not original are bootlegs.. Anything in particular you looking for?

Ohh yeah, one last thing.. Congrats... You won't be disappointed...

I love my MVS.. it's hours of fun...

One good game worth mentioning is Bust a Move / Puzzle Bobble it's great..

Hate to thread jack, but I got a one slot Neo geo cabaret type and am wondering the same thing. I want to find some kid games as my little girl is just the right height to play it and I want to find some games for her. Any suggestions?

As for great non-fighting games for the MVS, my personal favorites are:

Super Dodgeball
Shock Troopers
Any of the Metal Slugs

There are also a ton of puzzle games that people will recommend, so check some of those out too.

And as far as kids games go, Spin Master is a pretty solid title.

I have a couple of carts that I'm looking to get rid of if you guys are interested, particularly Magician Lord, Savage Reign and Samurai Showdown II, feel free to shoot me a PM if you're interested in any of those titles.

The eternal question....how can you tell if it is a bootleg cart?

Go to the neo-geo.com forums, they have a whole section dedicated to identifying boolegs.

As far as where to get MVS carts, I've only used eBay and neo-geo.com's buying and selling forum. There's also japangamesnow.com, I've never used them but I've heard that their service went all to hell at one point. Maybe that's blown over?

I've had my best deals on the N-G forum. eBay is ok, but it's a little too risky anymore with boots so rampant.
